The terms on which ServiceGuild provides its recruitment and staffing services to clients and candidates.

Introduction
These terms govern your use of this website and the recruitment services provided by ServiceGuild Ltd. By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Definitions
"Client" means an employer seeking staff. "Candidate" means an individual applying for or placed in work. "Services" means the recruitment and staffing services we provide.
Our services
We introduce vetted candidates to clients for permanent, temporary, contract and emergency placements. We conduct compliance checks including identity, right-to-work, references, qualifications and enhanced DBS where required.
Client obligations
Clients must provide accurate role information, comply with employment and health & safety law, and not request candidates to undertake duties outside agreed terms. Fees for placements are agreed in writing prior to introduction.
Candidate obligations
Candidates must provide accurate information, hold valid right-to-work documentation, and consent to required compliance checks. Misrepresentation may result in withdrawal from placement.
Compliance & vetting
We carry out checks in line with relevant legislation and sector guidance. Enhanced DBS checks are conducted where the role or environment requires. We process data in line with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
Fees & payment
Placement fees, temporary and contract charge rates and payment terms are set out in a separate written agreement with the client. Invoices are payable within the stated terms.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant placement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. We do not warrant that any candidate will be suitable for every purpose.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, design and imagery — is owned by ServiceGuild or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
