Who we are
ServiceGuild Ltd ("ServiceGuild", "we", "us") is a facilities recruitment agency registered in England & Wales. We connect employers seeking facilities, maintenance and cleaning staff with vetted candidates across schools and modern residential buildings.
Personal data we collect
From candidates: name, contact details, location, right-to-work status, references, qualifications, certifications, DBS information and CV. From employers and enquirers: company and contact details, role requirements and correspondence. We collect this via the forms on this website and by email or telephone.
How we use your data
We process personal data to source and place candidates, to carry out compliance checks (identity, right-to-work, references, qualifications, DBS), to respond to enquiries, and to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations. We rely on consent, contract and legitimate interests as our lawful bases.
Sharing your data
We share candidate information with prospective employers for placement purposes, and with relevant authorities where required for compliance (for example DBS disclosure bodies). We do not sell personal data. We use trusted processors (for example hosting and email providers) who act on our instructions under written agreements.
International transfers
Where data is processed outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or recognised adequacy mechanisms.
Data retention
We retain candidate and compliance records only for as long as necessary to fulfil placements and meet legal and regulatory obligations, after which data is securely deleted or anonymised.
